Privacy Policy
MakeMyStickers is built to be as private as a tool can reasonably be. The short version: everything you do happens inside your own browser. Images you upload stay on your device. The sheets you design are never sent to a server. There are no accounts, no user tracking, and no advertising on this site.
What information I collect
None that I can identify you by. I don't run analytics, I don't set cookies, and I don't ask for any personal information to use the tool. There is no signup, no email collection, and no account system.
The images, text, and layout choices you make in the editor live in your browser's memory. They are not transmitted to MakeMyStickers or to anyone else.
The page URL keeps track of your layout settings — sheet size, shape, margins and so on — so a refresh doesn't lose your place. Your label text is not put in the URL. It is only added when you press "Share settings & text", because that is the point at which you have asked for a link someone else can open. That keeps names, addresses and other label content out of your address bar, your browser history, and anything that syncs or screenshots it.
Local storage in your browser
Your browser stores data on your own device to make the tool work: the last layout you used, your current design while you switch tabs, and any images you've uploaded so they survive a refresh. Images are the large part — a saved design can run to several megabytes per image. Everything stays on your device, is not transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time through your browser's "clear site data" controls. Saved designs you haven't returned to are cleaned up automatically after seven days, the next time you visit.
Third parties I touch
I do my best to keep these to a minimum. The only third parties involved in serving MakeMyStickers are:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the standard information your browser sends with every request (IP address, user-agent, page requested) and may retain those request logs briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Amazon Associates affiliate links may appear throughout the tool and related guides. If you click one and then make a purchase on Amazon, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an Amazon link will take you to Amazon, which sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy. I do not see or share any data about what you do on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Optional feature downloads. One feature fetches code from a third party only when you use it: one-click background removal downloads a background-removal model from img.ly and Hugging Face. It loads on demand the first time you use the feature and is cached by your browser afterward. Those providers receive the standard request information your browser sends with any download (such as your IP address), but nothing about your images or your design is ever sent. The model runs entirely in your browser after it downloads. If you never use background removal, nothing is fetched from these providers. PDF export used to load its library from a third-party CDN; it is now served from this site, so saving a PDF contacts no one but the host.
No advertising, no behavioral tracking
This site does not display advertising, does not use ad networks, and does not embed any cookies or scripts that track you across sites.
Children's privacy
The tool is suitable for general audiences, but is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, please contact me at the address below.
Your rights
Because I don't collect personal information about you, there is no account to delete and no profile to access. If you have a question about your privacy on this site, or want to confirm what I do or don't store about you, email me at hello@makemystickers.app and I'll be glad to answer.
Changes to this policy
If I materially change anything described here — for example, if I ever add analytics or advertising — I'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Substantive changes will also be noted on the site's About page.
