Privacy Policy
MakeMyStickers is built to be as private as a tool can reasonably be. The short version: editing and exporting happen inside your own browser. Images you upload stay on your device. The sheets you design are never sent to a server. There are no accounts, advertising cookies, or tracking across sites. Cloudflare provides website performance analytics, described below.
What information I collect
You do not need to provide personal information to use the tool. There is no signup or account system. The site uses cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and page performance, such as loading time and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare receives these measurements and normal web-request information; this analytics feature does not read your artwork, label text, or saved projects.
The images, text, and layout choices you make in the editor live in your browser's memory. They are not transmitted to MakeMyStickers or to anyone else.
The page URL keeps track of your layout settings — sheet size, shape, margins and so on — so a refresh doesn't lose your place. Your label text is not put in the URL. It is only added when you press "Share settings & text", because that is the point at which you have asked for a link someone else can open. That keeps names, addresses and other label content out of your address bar, your browser history, and anything that syncs or screenshots it.
Local storage in your browser
Your browser stores data on your own device to make the tools work: the last layout you used, your current design while you switch tabs, and any images you've added so they survive a refresh. Images are the large part — a saved design can run to several megabytes per image. Everything stays on your device, is not transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time through your browser's "clear site data" controls. In the main sticker maker, saved sessions you haven't returned to are cleaned up automatically after seven days, the next time you visit.
The separate Photo Collage & PDF Maker keeps its latest recovery copy in separate browser storage until it is replaced or you clear site data. Recovery is best effort, not cloud storage. Save project downloads a .mmscollage file containing your layout and the images used by the collage, which may be optimized copies; that personal file stays wherever you save it. Optional automatic JPEG optimization creates a smaller local working copy and leaves your device’s original files unchanged. The decoder is downloaded as same-origin static code; it does not send photos to a service. Photo content, filenames, and photo metadata are not uploaded for conversion or analytics.
Collage recovery saves committed edits, not cancelled drags. On a fresh visit, a previous copy is kept until you restore it, explicitly choose to replace it, or successfully open another saved project. Dismiss only hides the recovery notice; it keeps the previous copy and pauses recovery saving. Failed Restore/Open leaves that copy available for retry.
Third parties I touch
I do my best to keep these to a minimum. The only third parties involved in serving MakeMyStickers are:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the standard information your browser sends with every request (IP address, user-agent, page requested) and may retain those request logs briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics loads a performance-measurement script and sends page and timing measurements to Cloudflare through this site's
/cdn-cgi/rumendpoint. It does not use cookies or track individual visitors across sites. Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not log URL query strings. See its data collection documentation and analytics FAQ. - Amazon Associates affiliate links may appear throughout the tool and related guides. If you click one and then make a purchase on Amazon, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an Amazon link will take you to Amazon, which sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy. I do not see or share any data about what you do on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Optional feature downloads. Background-removal code and its model are served from this site when you use the feature. Your image is processed in your browser and is never uploaded. QR features can load scan-verification and ZIP-packaging libraries from jsDelivr. These downloads may be cached by your browser for later use. The host and download provider receive standard request information (such as your IP address), but your images, QR payloads, and designs are not sent to them. The PDF library is also served from this site, so saving a PDF contacts only the host.
No advertising, no behavioral tracking
This site does not display advertising, does not use ad networks, and does not embed any cookies or scripts that track you across sites.
Children's privacy
The tool is suitable for general audiences, but is not directed at children under 13. It has no signup or account form asking children to provide personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, please contact me at the address below.
Your rights
There is no user account to delete or advertising profile to access. You can remove designs stored on your device through your browser's clear-site-data controls. Changes to this policy
If I materially change anything described here — for example, the analytics collected or the use of advertising — I'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Substantive changes will also be noted on the site's About page.
