Frequently asked questions

How do I print stickers at home?

Click Download PDF to save a print-ready PDF, then print it at 100% scale (Actual Size). Load your printer with sticker paper and hit print. Inkjet printers on glossy sticker paper give the best colour. No sticker paper? Regular paper works too, just use a glue stick or double-sided tape on the back.

Does it cost anything? Are there watermarks?

It's completely free. No account, no watermark, no download fee, no catch. Your images stay in your browser and are never uploaded to any server.

What image formats can I upload?

PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, and SVG are all supported. You can also paste an image directly from your clipboard. Handy if you just screenshotted something. Upload multiple images at once and choose whether they fill the sheet sequentially, tiled, or randomly.

How many stickers fit on one page?

Up to 130 on A4 using the 130-up Tiny preset, or 56 on US Letter with the 56-up Sheet preset. The grid goes up to 20 columns × 25 rows, so you can pack in even more if you need tiny stickers.

Can I make circle or shaped stickers?

Yes. Choose from square, rounded corner, circle, or hexagon. Circles are great for jar lids and badge stickers. Hex stickers are popular for laptops and water bottles. The shape clips your image cleanly with no extra software needed.

What paper size should I use?

US Letter (8.5×11") for most home printers in North America, A4 for the rest of the world. Photo paper sizes (4×6", 5×7", 8×10") work great for photo-style sticker sheets printed on a photo printer.

Can I save the sheet as a PDF instead of printing?

Yes — that's the default. The Download PDF button exports a print-ready PDF at the exact dimensions you set, no print dialog needed. (Browser printing still works too: choose Save as PDF as the destination.)

What Avery sizes are supported?

The Avery 5160 preset snaps to the exact 1" × 2⅝" die-cut layout. The same geometry covers 5260 and 8160, with dedicated exact pages for 5163, 5167, and 5267. There are also quick-start grids for 1×1" squares, 1.5" and 2" rounds, and 2" squares on US Letter, plus fully custom sizes via the columns, rows, gap, and margin controls.

Does this work with Avery 5160 address labels?

Yes. Avery 5160 is a 30-up label sheet. 1" × 2⅝", arranged in 3 columns and 10 rows on US Letter. Click the Avery 5160 preset (or open the dedicated Avery 5160 page). It matches the published Avery 5160 die-cut layout, so your labels register to the pre-cut sheet. In the print dialog, set scale to 100% and turn off headers and footers.

How do I make planner stickers for Happy Planner or Erin Condren?

Most planner stickers are about 1.5" rounded squares to fit the standard daily box in Happy Planner and Erin Condren LifePlanner layouts. Upload your designs as transparent PNGs, choose the Rounded shape, and try 5 columns × 7 rows on US Letter. Print on matte sticker paper, then hand-cut or kiss-cut with a cutting machine along the edges.

What's the cheapest way to print sticker sheets for my Etsy shop?

An inkjet printer plus full-sheet matte sticker paper is the lowest-cost starting point. Often under $0.30 per US Letter sheet in materials. Lay out your designs at 1.5–2" using the 2" Round or 2" Square preset, print, then hand-cut with precision scissors or run through a cutting machine for clean kiss-cuts. Many sellers package finished sheets at 4×6" or 5×7" for a better perceived value.

Can I use this with Print Then Cut?

Yes. Use Download transparent PNG for Cricut Design Space workflows. The export creates a transparent 450 DPI PNG with a 1 mm white contour around each sticker and automatically fits common Print Then Cut size limits. Upload that PNG as a Print Then Cut image; Design Space adds the registration marks.

What does the size in the transparent PNG filename mean?

The size in the filename is the intended import size after transparent outer margins are cropped and any Print Then Cut size limit is applied. If Design Space asks for dimensions, set either the width or height to the filename value and keep proportions locked.

Why is the transparent PNG smaller than my paper size?

The transparent PNG is cropped to the visible stickers instead of keeping a full blank 8.5 by 11 inch page. Empty outer margins are transparent and removed so the file imports at the sticker sheet's actual useful size.

What do Cut guides do?

Cut guides add light dashed printable trimming lines around each sticker cell. Turn them on for scissors, craft knives, paper trimmers, punches, or plain-paper alignment tests. Leave them off when using precut labels or cutting-machine imports unless you intentionally want printed guide lines.

How do I make hex stickers for my laptop?

Hex stickers are usually 2.5–3" across and look great clustered on a laptop lid or water bottle. Choose the Hex shape, try 3 columns × 4 rows on US Letter with a 10mm margin. Print on glossy vinyl sticker paper for the laminated, durable look common to dev and tech sticker collections.

How do I make my stickers waterproof?

Two practical paths. First, print on printable vinyl instead of regular paper sticker stock because it is more water-resistant. Second, apply a clear laminate sheet before cutting to protect the ink layer. Vinyl plus laminate can handle splashes and damp handling much better than paper, but test before using stickers on mugs, bottles, dishwashers, or outdoor items.

How do I make name labels for kids' school supplies?

Name labels are one of the most popular DIY sticker uses. For lunchboxes, water bottles, supply bins, library books, and daycare cubbies. Use the Avery 5160 preset (30 per sheet, 1" × 2⅝") for standard rectangular labels, or pick the 1×1" Squares grid for small square labels that fit on pencils and crayons. For labels that will be handled often, use printable vinyl plus a clear laminate layer and test one finished label before relying on it for washing or heavy use.

Can I add text or captions to my stickers?

Yes. Switch to Text mode for label-only sheets, or Image+Text mode to add captions under uploaded artwork. You can type one label per line and adjust the font, weight, alignment, size, color, and caption position before printing.

Are my images kept private?

Yes. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server, and nothing is stored remotely. An optional auto-save keeps your layout in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off, and you can clear it anytime through your browser. No account or sign-in is required at any point.
