Frequently asked questions

What size is Avery 5267?

Avery 5267 is a small return address label: ½" tall by 1¾" wide, arranged 4 columns by 20 rows for 80 labels per US Letter sheet.

What's the difference between Avery 5267 and Avery 5167?

Identical physical layout. 80 labels per US Letter sheet at ½" x 1¾". The difference is the coating: 5267 is for inkjet, 5167 is for laser. Pick the product that matches your printer. The template prints the same on either.

How do I print 80 of the same return address?

Type your return address once in the text box, then set Fill mode to Tile / repeat. The address fills all 80 labels. You can also customize one cell and tick "Duplicate this cell to all cells" in the per-cell editor.

Will inkjet ink smudge on tiny 5267 labels?

5267 has an inkjet-friendly coating, but small labels still need a moment to dry. Let the sheet rest 30–60 seconds after printing before stacking. If smudging persists, lower the ink density in your driver or pick a slower print mode.

Can I use Avery 5267 for product or inventory labels?

Yes. The 80-up format is great for SKU labels, sample IDs, classroom labels, small organization stickers, and short product codes. Keep text short. These labels have limited room. CSV import works well for unique codes.

How small can the text be and still be readable?

6–8 point sans-serif is the usual minimum on 5267 labels. Auto-fit will go smaller if needed to make text fit, but consider how legible the printed result will actually be at arm's length before going below 6 points.

Can I print partial sheets of 5267?

Yes. Click any used cell and mark it blank in the per-cell editor. Used positions stay clean during the print, leaving the rest of the sheet for next time. Saves labels when you only need a handful.

What printer settings work best for tiny inkjet labels?

Set Scale: 100%, disable headers and footers, select Margins: None or Default. For inkjets, pick a higher-quality print mode (Photo or Best). Test on plain paper first. Tiny labels make any misalignment obvious.

Are 5267 labels good for kids' name labels?

Yes. 80 small labels per sheet is useful for crayons, pencils, lunchbox items, and water bottle clips. For labels that may be washed or handled hard, print on inkjet-compatible vinyl labels instead of paper, laminate before cutting, and test one finished label first.

Can I import a list for unique labels?

Yes. Switch to Text mode and click Import CSV. Each row in your CSV becomes one label, up to 80 per 5267 sheet. Best for short content like names, SKUs, or codes. Long multi-line addresses get cramped at this size.
