Print 2½" square Avery 94104 labels: 9 per sheet, no Word or signup. Why free?
The Avery 94104 template is set up for the 2 1/2 inch square label sheet: three columns by three rows, 9 per US Letter page, locked to the exact die-cut positions. The big square format suits product labels, QR codes, social handles, and party favors. Upload artwork and choose Cover fit to fill each square, or switch to Text mode for clean typographic labels.
Avery sells 94104 in many materials (matte, glossy, kraft, waterproof) - all share this 9-up layout. Other 2 1/2" square 9-up sheets, like Avery 22806, use a similar layout, but run a plain-paper test first.
Avery 94104 is a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square label layout with 9 labels per US Letter sheet, arranged 3 columns by 3 rows.
Product and packaging labels, QR code stickers, candle and jar labels, wedding and party favors, and box seals. The large square gives designs room to breathe.
Yes. Generate your QR code stickers with the QR tool, or upload a QR image here. The 2 1/2 inch size scans easily from a distance.
Set Fit to Cover so each image fills its square edge to edge. Print at 100% scale and run a plain-paper test to confirm alignment.
Yes. Use Text mode for plain labels or Image+Text mode to pair a logo or photo with a caption.
Set browser print scale to 100%, disable headers and footers, and test on plain paper before loading label sheets.
Yes. Use per-cell editing to blank out already-used positions before printing a partial sheet.
No. Images and text stay in the browser. The page is static and does not store your designs.
Measured from Avery's own template file: the first square starts 0.375" from the left and a full 1" from the top - deeper than most sheets, so do not trust your eye on the first row. Columns repeat every 2.625" with a 1/8" gutter, and rows every 3.25" with a 3/4" gap between rows.
Most printers feed paper a fraction of a millimeter off, and on label stock that shows. Use the Printer alignment panel to print a test sheet, hold it against a label sheet in front of a light, and nudge the layout in 0.25mm steps. The setting is saved for next time.
Usually feeding, not software. Feed label sheets one at a time from the manual or bypass tray if you have one, never run a sheet through twice, and store unused sheets flat in the packaging - humidity curls label stock, and a curled sheet feeds crooked.
Avery sells 94104 by the sheet in matte, glossy, kraft, clear, and waterproof film - all on this same die-cut. Matte prints anywhere; glossy wants a photo-quality inkjet mode; the waterproof films are inkjet-only - check the pack. A candle jar and a kraft box flatter very different finishes, so test two.
Short runs stay honest: print nine, see how they look on the actual jar, adjust, and print nine more - no 25-sheet box required. It also makes mixing materials cheap, like glossy for product fronts and kraft for box seals.
Makers of candles, soaps, bath products, and preserves - the 2 1/2" square fits a logo, product name, and a detail line without crowding. The same footprint suits social-handle stickers, wedding favors, drink cup seals, and QR codes that need to scan from several feet.
No. This template runs entirely in the browser - nothing to install, no account, no plug-in. It replaces the Word template workflow: the 94104 grid is already measured and locked, you just add content and print. It works the same on Windows, Mac, Chromebooks, and Linux.
