Free Avery 5260 Template

Print 30 inkjet address labels per sheet — same layout as 5160, made for inkjet paper. Why free?

Free Avery 5260 Template prints standard 30-up address labels for inkjet printers. The default layout is 3 columns by 10 rows on US Letter, each label 1" x 2 5/8". Use it for mailing addresses, holiday card return labels, shipping prep, or any 30-per-sheet inkjet workflow. Avery 5260 uses the same physical layout as Avery 5160 — just on inkjet-coated paper.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Avery 5260 and Avery 5160?

Identical physical layout — 30 labels per US Letter sheet at 1" x 2 5/8", arranged 3 across by 10 down. The only difference is the paper: 5260 is coated for inkjet printers; 5160 is for laser printers. Pick the product that matches your printer. The template here prints the same on either.

What size is an Avery 5260 label?

Each label is 1" tall by 2 5/8" wide, in a 3-column by 10-row grid on US Letter, for 30 labels per sheet. The grid has a 12 mm top/bottom margin and small gaps between labels to match the Avery die-cut sheet exactly.

Can I use Avery 5260 in a laser printer if I have to?

Avery doesn't recommend it — the inkjet coating can warm unevenly in a laser printer and risk lifting or jamming. If you only have a laser printer, use Avery 5160 sheets instead; same layout, the right material, no template change needed.

How do I keep inkjet ink from smudging on 5260 labels?

Let the sheet air-dry 30–60 seconds before stacking or handling. Pick up by the edges. If smudging persists, lower the print density in your printer driver, or pick a slightly slower print mode. Dye-based inks dry faster than pigment for typical 5260 use.

Can I print just a few labels and save the rest of the sheet?

Yes. Click any cell on the sheet and use the per-cell editor to mark it blank. Print — those cells stay clean and the rest of the sheet is reusable later. Easiest way to use a partial sheet without wasting it.

How do I make sure text aligns with the die-cut labels?

Two things: in your browser's print dialog, set Scale: 100% and turn off headers and footers. Then do a single test print on plain paper, hold it over a real 5260 sheet against a window, and check alignment. If labels are shifted, most printer drivers have a small offset/calibration utility.

Can I import a contact list from a CSV?

Yes. Switch to Text mode and click Import CSV. The tool maps your columns (Name, Street, City, State, ZIP) into multi-line labels automatically — one row per label. Up to 30 fit on one 5260 sheet; for larger lists, print multiple sheets.

What if my labels print off-center?

Almost always a print-dialog scaling issue or a printer margin offset. Verify Scale: 100% and Margins set to None or Default. If it's still off, most printers have an alignment/registration utility in their driver — run it once and the template will line up afterward.

Can I add a small logo next to each address?

Yes. Use Image+Text mode, upload your logo, type addresses in the text box, and choose a band-left or band-right position. The logo repeats next to each address. 5260 labels are narrow (2 5/8"), so keep the logo simple and the address concise to leave room.

Do I need Microsoft Word to print Avery 5260?

No. This template runs entirely in your browser — no Word document, no Avery Design & Print account, no software install. Type or paste addresses, click Download PDF, and print. Your data stays on your device; nothing is uploaded.
